- Analyze sales data, market trends, and seasonality to forecast product demand.
- Forecast demand based on sales trends, production plans, and seasonality.
- Maintain optimal stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
- Coordinate with purchasing, for inventory planning.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Warehouse, Stores, Sales, and Planning teams to ensure seamless inventory availability.
- Support inventory planning for seasonal launches, promotions, and new product introductions.
- Monitor inventory turnover and recommend reorder levels.
- Assist in planning seasonal and promotional stock requirements.
- Ensure data accuracy in inventory systems
- Conduct periodic stock audits and reconciliation.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- Solid knowledge of retail inventory management and forecasting techniques.
- Proficient in Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Preferred:
- Knowledge of lean inventory and just-in-time (JIT) practices.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Inventory Planner and forecasting role.
