Role & responsibilities

Formulation & Development

Conduct comprehensive literature searches to support product development

Perform pre-formulation studies to assess product feasibility

Finalize product formulations in compliance with FSSAI guidelines

Conduct formulation trials and secure sensory approvals from relevant stakeholders

Execute stability batch manufacturing and scale-up batch manufacturing

Ensure stability charging as per regulatory and product-specific guidelines

Prepare detailed costing data sheets for formulations

FSSAI Licensing

Prepare DTM (Detailed Technical Module) and SOI (Statement of Ingredients) documentation

Documentation

Develop and maintain Raw Material (RM) and Packaging Material (PM) specifications

Prepare Master Formula Records (MFR)

Review and ensure accuracy of site documentation

Stakeholder Management





Manage and coordinate with internal stakeholders to obtain timely approvals

Ensure smooth cross-functional collaboration to support product launches within defined timelines

Artwork Management System (AMS)

Review draft artworks and ensure compliance with FSSAI regulations

Preferred candidate profile

Experience: 4-8 years of experience in formulation development, preferably in FSSAI-regulated products

Solid understanding of formulation development processes and regulatory requirements

Sound knowledge of latest FSSAI guidelines across product categories

High attention to detail with strong documentation and compliance orientation

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage timelines
