Position Statement:
Ensure all international MCIE events are coordinated end-to-end and executed flawlessly. Ensure that the client requirements are handled in the most professional and smooth manner
Position Summary:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Should have positive knowledge about international destinations and Hotel Properties in those destinations.
- Should be able to understand clients requirements and deliver appropriate solutions accordingly.
- Should be able to make & curate travel itineraries based on clients requirements.
- Should be able to handle overall operations across all the stages from emailing queries to vendors, preparing costing sheets to pre-tour, on tour and post tour execution.
- Should be able to coordinate with all the Corporate Houses/ Clients on a regular basis.
- Should be able to handle contracting and negotiations with the Air Ticketing agent, Hotels, DMCs, Transporters, Visa agents, Travel Insurance and other vendors.
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Power point, Outlook, Word & Excel)
- Should be able to escort the group and manage the same on tour, if required.
- Needs to keep a mandate, follow up on the reporting of Pre-& Post M.I.C.E. Group details.
- Should be a team player and have the ability to collaborate, along with qualitative deliverance.
- Should be able to adhere to the processes & work ethics of the organization.
- Support & assist in the development of the annual Business Plan, MICE Budget & Marketing Plan as requested by the Director of Business Operations.
- Should be able to generate leads and sales by meeting clients and ensuring business development within the MICE market.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS & DELIVERABLES FOR INTERNATIONAL MICE SALES & OPERATIONS
- Previous work experience in International MICE Ops / Sales
- Strong communication skills.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue under MICE closures.
- Previous experience in managing complex corporate events.
- A good understanding of the logistic in MICE planning and production
- IATA Course Certificate or a Travel & Tourism Diploma (Preferable but not mandatory).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline
- >7 years of experience.
- Preferably be from Travel / Tourism / Hospitality domain
- Proficient in English and Hindi. Knowledge of Marathi is an added advantage
