Experience

- 1218+ years of structural engineering experience.
- Minimum 5 years working on mission-critical facilities or hyperscale data center projects.
- Experience in EPC, design-build, or contracting organizations.
- Proven experience in structural steel and reinforced concrete design and construction.
- Strong understanding of industrial and mission-critical construction methodologies.

Technical Skills

- Expertise in reinforced concrete and structural steel systems.
- Knowledge of seismic and wind-resistant structural design.
- Experience reviewing structural analysis and design calculations.
- Familiarity with:
- ETABS
- STAAD.Pro
- SAFE
- SAP2000
- AutoCAD
- Revit
- Navisworks
- BIM coordination platforms

- Strong understanding of international codes such as ACI, AISC, ASCE, Eurocodes, IBC, and relevant local standards.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural specialization preferred).
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering is desirable.
- Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer (CEng), or equivalent certification is an advantage.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME)/ Manager level Structural to provide technical leadership for structural engineering activities across mission-critical data center construction projects. The role will support design reviews, value engineering, construction methodologies, quality assurance, and technical problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in structural design and execution of large-scale industrial or data center projects and will collaborate closely with design consultants, project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure safe, productive, and high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

- Serve as the organization's structural engineering authority for data center projects.
- Review structural designs, calculations, drawings,



and specifications for compliance with project requirements, applicable codes, and industry standards.
- Provide technical guidance during design development, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Support project teams in resolving complex structural engineering challenges.

Design Review & Coordination

- Review IFC drawings and engineering deliverables for constructability.
- Coordinate with architectural, civil, MEP, and BIM teams to ensure multidisciplinary integration.
- Participate in design coordination meetings with consultants and clients.
- Recommend value engineering opportunities without compromising safety or performance.

Construction Support

- Advise site teams on structural construction methodologies and sequencing.
- Review temporary works, lifting plans, heavy equipment foundations, and structural modifications.
- Provide technical support during RFIs, NCRs, deviations, and field engineering activities.
- Conduct technical inspections and site audits as required.

Quality & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with international and local structural design codes.
- Review material specifications, shop drawings, and method statements.
- Support quality assurance and quality control processes.
- Participate in root cause analysis for structural issues and recommend corrective actions.

Risk Management

- Identify structural risks during design and execution.
- Develop mitigation strategies for technical and construction risks.
- Support constructability and risk assessment workshops.

Knowledge Management

- Develop structural engineering standards, best practices, and technical guidelines.
- Mentor junior engineers and project teams.
- Conduct technical training sessions and knowledge-sharing workshops.
- Capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

- Represent the organization during technical discussions with clients, consultants, and authorities.
- Provide technical presentations and engineering recommendations.
- Support business development teams during technical proposals and tender evaluations.
