What You Will Work On

Your initial assignment may be on our next-generation Capital Markets & Derivatives Software Platform. Depending on business priorities and product evolution, you will also have opportunities to contribute to products in areas such as:

- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Workflow Automation
- Financial Accounting
- Project Management
- Enterprise Business Applications

This is an enterprise software product engineering role, where you will participate in the design, development, enhancement and long-term evolution of sophisticated enterprise software products.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade backend software using Python.
- Develop secure, scalable and high-performance RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Build reliable business logic and data processing modules.




- Participate in technical discussions, software design and code reviews.
- Write clean, maintainable and well-tested production-quality software.
- Develop automated unit tests and support integration testing.
- Troubleshoot, optimise and continuously improve software performance and reliability.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow engineers, architects and product managers.

Technical Skills

Essential

- 3 - 5 years of professional Python development experience
- FastAPI, Django or Flask
- REST API development
- PostgreSQL or MySQL
- SQLAlchemy or Django ORM
- Object-Oriented Programming
- Design Patterns and SOLID principles
- Asynchronous programming (AsyncIO)
- Automated testing using PyTest or equivalent frameworks
- Git
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Desirable

- Docker
- CI/CD
- WebSockets or event-driven backend architectures
- Redis
- Enterprise software product development
- Capital Markets, Financial Systems, ERP or CRM domain knowledge
