Pre-primary Coordinator (Nursery to Grade-2)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Foundational Stage Coordinator to lead our Foundational Stage programme (Nursery to Grade 2). The successful candidate will provide strong academic and pedagogical leadership, mentor teachers, promote play-based and child-centred learning, and ensure high-quality teaching and learning experiences aligned with the CBSE framework.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support the Early Years teaching team from Nursery to Grade - 2.
- Promote play-based, inquiry-driven learning and effective classroom practices.
- Mentor teachers through classroom observations, coaching, and professional development.
- Monitor curriculum implementation, student progress, and assessment practices.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the Learning Support team to meet individual student needs.
- Ensure a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
- Plan parent engagement activities, workshops, and orientation programmes.




- Manage teaching-learning resources and maintain required documentation.
- Participate in school leadership, planning, and continuous school improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

- B.Ed., ECCEd, PGCITE, PPTTC, or an equivalent Early Years qualification.
- Professional certification in Early Years education preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of Early Years teaching experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pre-primary Coordinator or in a similar leadership role.

Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of play-based and child-centred learning.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Experience in mentoring teachers and implementing educational improvements.
- Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality Early Years education.
