Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Supervisor with a minimum of 1 year of experience in railway or infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for supervising daily site activities, ensuring work is executed according to project specifications, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating with site engineers and contractors to achieve project milestones.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day construction and site activities for railway infrastructure projects.
- Monitor work progress and ensure completion as per project schedules.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and skilled workers.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.
- Conduct daily site inspections and prepare work progress reports.
- Verify material availability and coordinate with the store and procurement teams.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery, and construction equipment.
- Maintain site documentation, work records, and attendance registers.
- Report site issues, delays,
and safety concerns to the Project Engineer/Manager.
- Support the implementation of railway project activities such as earthwork, track works, drainage, culverts, and other civil infrastructure works.
- Ensure housekeeping and safe working conditions at the project site.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of railway and infrastructure construction activities.
- Ability to supervise site execution and manage manpower.
- Understanding of construction drawings and project specifications.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Familiarity with quality control and safety procedures.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel and MS Office) is preferred.
Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Candidates with relevant infrastructure or railway project experience will be preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Minimum 1 year of experience in railway or infrastructure projects.
- Willingness to travel or relocate to project sites.
- Robust leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
