Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Billing & Quantity Survey Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in railway infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for quantity estimation, client and subcontractor billing, BOQ verification, measurement recording, cost control, and contract management while ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and verify client bills and subcontractor bills as per contract conditions.
- Measure executed work at site and prepare quantity calculations.
- Review and verify BOQs, rate analysis, and quantity variations.
- Prepare RA Bills, Final Bills, and reconciliation statements.
- Coordinate with project engineers, site teams, and clients for billing approvals.
- Monitor project costs and support cost control initiatives.
- Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and project specifications.
- Maintain billing records, measurement books (MB), and project documentation.
- Track material consumption and prepare material reconciliation reports.
- Assist in preparing project estimates, budgets, and variation claims.




- Ensure compliance with contract terms, project milestones, and billing schedules.
- Coordinate with finance and procurement teams for invoice processing and payment follow-up.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of Railway Quantity Surveying and Billing.
- Experience in BOQ preparation, quantity estimation, and rate analysis.
- Knowledge of RA Bills, Final Bills, and Measurement Books (MB).
- Familiarity with railway contract conditions and project documentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Office.
- Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Additional certification in Quantity Surveying is an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in railway infrastructure projects.
- Experience in railway civil works such as earthwork, bridges, station buildings, track works, culverts, and drainage works is preferred.
- Robust understanding of project billing procedures and quantity estimation.
- Ability to work under deadlines and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
