Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Survey Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in railway infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for conducting land and engineering surveys, setting out alignments, maintaining survey records, and ensuring accurate measurements for project execution in accordance with railway standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out topographical, route, and engineering surveys for railway projects.
- Perform setting out of alignments, track centerlines, embankments, culverts, bridges, and station works.
- Establish and verify control points, benchmarks, and coordinates.
- Operate survey instruments such as Total Station, Auto Level, DGPS/GPS, and Digital Level.
- Prepare survey reports, contour maps, layout drawings, and coordinate data.
- Verify site levels, dimensions, and quantities as per approved drawings.
- Coordinate with project engineers and construction teams to ensure accurate site execution.




- Monitor survey accuracy and resolve alignment or level-related issues.
- Maintain survey records, field books, and measurement documentation.
- Ensure compliance with railway specifications, project quality standards, and safety regulations.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in Total Station, Auto Level, DGPS/GPS, and Digital Level.
- Knowledge of railway alignment, track geometry, and civil construction surveying.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and survey data.
- Experience in topographical surveys, route surveys, and setting out works.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and survey software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Qualification

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Survey Engineering.
- Certification in Land Surveying will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in railway infrastructure projects.
- Hands-on experience in railway earthwork, bridges, station buildings, track works, drainage, and other railway civil works.
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
