Senior Web Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Web Developer with 3+ years of professional experience in web development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PHP, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and WordPress, along with a solid understanding of modern web architectures and best practices. This role requires technical leadership, problem-solving expertise, and the ability to mentor junior developers while delivering high-quality, scalable web solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize complex websites and web applications using PHP, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and related technologies
- Lead WordPress development efforts, including advanced theme and plugin customization, performance optimization, and security best practices
- Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions
- Architect and implement responsive, cross-browser, and high-performance user interfaces
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues across multiple environments
- Ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, documentation, and version control
- Integrate and consume RESTful APIs and third-party services
- Guide and mentor junior developers,



providing technical direction and feedback
- Stay current with emerging web technologies, frameworks, and industry trends, and recommend improvements
- Contribute to technical decision-making, system design, and project planning

Required Skills

- Robust proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Bootstrap
- Advanced knowledge of WordPress (custom themes, plugins, hooks, performance, and security)
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Deep understanding of responsive, adaptive, and mobile-first design principles
- Solid experience with RESTful APIs (integration and development)
- Strong debugging, optimization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver projects on time
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have Skills

- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React.js
- Exposure to Node.js and modern backend architectures
- Strong understanding of database design and optimization (MySQL or similar)
- Familiarity with MVC frameworks, headless CMS, or WordPress REST API
- Experience with performance optimization, caching, and security best practices
- Prior experience in mentoring or leading a development team
