In this role, you will support the Head of Planning and Analytics in strategic planning, data analysis, and performance monitoring. You will play a crucial role in driving inventory optimization, assortment planning, sales analysis, and market trends evaluation. The ideal candidate has a robust background in retail planning, analytics, and a passion for the fine jewellery industry.

Brief Job Description

1. Collaborate with the Head of Planning and Analytics to develop and execute stock planning strategies for new and active stores.
2. Support in defining assortment groups based on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive analysis.
3. Monitor and analyze market trends, design rankings, and competitive activities to provide actionable insights.
4. Assist in managing the product lifecycle and analyzing discount data for pricing and promotional strategies.
5. Contribute to the creation of margin and promotion calendars, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
6. Support new design introductions and seasonal stocking plans based on demand forecasts and market trends.
7. Assist in stock liquidation processes, including Return to Vendor (RTV) and melting activities.

Contribute to accurate sales reporting and data analysis for sales performance evaluation.
9. Assist in monitoring and controlling sales and order projections to ensure accuracy and alignment with targets.
10. Stay updated on industry benchmarks, including gold rate, diamond rate, buyback, exchange, and making charges.
11. Collaborate with the e-commerce team to support web merchandising and promotion strategies.

Skill Required

1. Bachelor's degree in business, merchandising, analytics, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in retail planning, analytics, or inventory management.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools.
4. Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with a focus on attention to detail.
5. Knowledge of the fine jewellery industry, including market trends and customer preferences.
6. Familiarity with planning and analytics software and tools.
7. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
