- Direct procurement of OSD packaging materials (Alu-Alu foils, PVC/PVDC, Blister films, HDPE bottles, Cartons, Leaflets, and Labels).
- Develop and implement long-term sourcing strategies to ensure supply continuity and risk mitigation.
- Manage a high-volume portfolio while maintaining a budget of 40 LPA+ efficiency.
2. Vendor Management & Development
- Identify, audit, and onboard current vendors capable of meeting the organizations stringent quality and volume requirements.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews based on OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery, quality, and cost-competitiveness.
- Negotiate Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) and Price Service Agreements (PSAs).
3. Cost Optimization & Value Engineering
- Analyze market trends and raw material indices (Aluminum, Paper, Plastic) to time purchases effectively.
- Lead cost-reduction initiatives through alternative sourcing, material substitution, or process improvements without compromising quality.
4. Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure all packaging materials comply with cGMP, WHO-GMP, and international regulatory requirements (USFDA, MHRA, etc.).
- Collaborate with the Quality Control (QC) and Regulatory Affairs (RA) teams to resolve deviations or non-compliance issues.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Production and Planning teams to align procurement schedules with the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
- Liaise with New Product Development (NPD) for the design and procurement of packaging for upcoming launches
