Technical Responsibilities:

Review functional and technical design provided by project teams

Understand the As-is system and provide the architecture for the To-Be system

Demonstrate a good understanding of data governance, data management, data quality, data security, and

data migration processes

Estimate workload for ETL deliveries

Design technical solutions for requested interfaces

Contribute and participate in solution design by security standards as prescribed from time to time

Maintain and improve the technical guidelines for DataStage & Talend development

Troubleshoot incidents linked with AWS Glue interfaces

Possess strong data modeling and database design experience

Demonstrate a good understanding of data security management

Delivery Responsibilities:

Ensure the quality of the deliveries of the team

Document the development

Follow-up deliveries in validation and production environments

Perform end-to-end data migration from on-premises to the cloud Initiatives: Establish processes and automate various recurring tasks Take part in the continuous improvement of the interfaces Ensure positive performance of the interfaces Create a CI-CD pipeline Provide apt solutions to different stakeholders based on their needs Demonstrate strong experience in data quality, source systems analysis, business rules validation, source-target mapping design, performance tuning, and high-volume data loads Role:



Responsible for team management, Capacity planning, providing feedback and team reporting. Responsible for stream roadmap and mentoring / upskilling team on various technologies. Responsible for defining best practices, process improvement, team building and supporting overall COE on various initiatives. Provide updates to the Delivery Head on various initiatives, projects, ongoing items. Responsible for providing input on various aspects of delivery including the technical architecture, best practices. Participate in various Management activities assigned and make sure to support COE Delivery stream manager.

Skills

Strong stakeholder and crisis management skills

Strong skills in architecture and deliveries with IBM Datastage Server 11.7

Technical skills with Microsoft SSIS and Talend are required

Strong exposure to AWS environment and it's linkage with various component within AWS and outside AWS

Lead the tasks from front and ensure the deliveries in timebound manner

Good knowledge of standard databases: Postgres, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL

Good knowledge of Windows scripting languages (.bat, PowerShell)

Ability to deal with several projects at the same time

Team mentoring and designing their growth plan

Strong communication skills

Good exposure to Dev-Ops model and can create a CI-CD pipeline

Knowledge of Git, Jenkins and Dev-Ops are required
