Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager - IT to own the end-to-end IT infrastructure and security architecture, governance framework, and team leadership. This role is responsible for defining the IT Operations strategy, driving operational excellence, ensuring rigorous compliance and SOP enforcement, and managing critical functions including endpoint security, identity management, and infrastructure stability across the organisation. The role requires deep expertise in Device Management, Patch Management, directory services, Network Operations, IdP/SSO architecture, authentication frameworks, and enterprise EDR management.

Key Responsibilities

- IT Strategy, Operations & Team Leadership
- Define and own the IT Operations strategy and roadmap, ensuring system stability, high availability, and operational excellence aligned with organisational goals.
- Establish and lead structured change management, incident response, and support desk management practices, ensuring comprehensive SOP and policy enforcement across the organisation.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the IT Operations and Administration team.

- Infrastructure & Security Architecture Ownership

- Own the high-level planning, design, and execution of all IT infrastructure projects, ensuring budgetary compliance across new and existing office locations.
- Architect and manage the enterprise security architecture for all endpoints, including the deployment and operation of MDM (e.g., Jamf, Scalefusion) and EDR tools (e.g., Microsoft Defender).
- Define and enforce adherence to the established patch management strategy, security baselines,



and encryption standards for timely vulnerability remediation and minimising operational impact.

- IAM, Risk, & Compliance Governance

- Own the IAM architecture roadmap, focusing on directory services (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory) and Identity Provider (IdP) strategy and execution.
- Define and enforce strategic policies for Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and govern the complete user lifecycle management.
- Serve as the point of contact for internal and external compliance and audits (e.g., ISO, SOC2), establish access control governance, and manage the IT risk mitigation strategy.

Required Skills & Competencies Technical Expertise

- Endpoint & Security Architecture: Architectural command over MDM (e.g., Jamf, Scalefusion) and EDR solutions (e.g., Microsoft Defender), including planning for patch management, security baselines, and encryption standards.
- Identity & Access Governance (IAM): Expertise in designing and executing the IAM architecture roadmap, focusing on Directory Services (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory), Identity Provider (IdP) strategy, SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, and RBAC policy enforcement.
- Infrastructure & Operations: Advanced understanding of Network fundamentals (Firewall,



VLAN, Wi-Fi) to support multi-location infrastructure projects, coupled with expertise in administering enterprise cloud platforms like Microsoft 365.
- Risk & Compliance: Proven ability to manage IT risk mitigation and act as the IT liaison for compliance and audits (e.g., ISO, SOC2), establishing strong access control governance.

- Governance & Accountability: Robust strategic and governance focus, demonstrating accountability for compliance, security baselines, team leadership, and executive-level stakeholder management.

Experience Required

- A minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in IT Infrastructure and Operations, including 23+ years of direct people management in an IT leadership role.
- Proven expertise in defining and executing IT Operations strategy, managing large-scale infrastructure budgets, and overseeing key vendor relationships.
- Mandatory experience in architecting and governing core IT domains, including IAM (SSO, MFA, RBAC), Endpoint Security (MDM/EDR), and leading IT compliance/audit functions (e.g., ISO, SOC2).
- Experience in multi-location IT management and new office setup project ownership is highly preferred.
