- Develop, Implement and monitor safety practices, procedures in the unit.
- Monitor and ensure safe workplace by regular inspection in the process area, plant surrounding and practices.
- Identify unsafe conditions and ensure improvement in terms of safety.
- Act as on one point of contact for all safety compliance.
- Implement safety awareness among employees and promote safety awareness in the premises.
- Represent Safety department in various Govt. bodies such as Factories Dept, Fire Dept, Labour Dept. Fire Dept. Social Audits and customer Audits.
- Maintain compliance documentation inline to Govt. guidelines, compliance and Audit requirement.
- Responsible for periodical inspection of Fire, Machinery, Health and Workplace equipments, apparatus.
- Responsible for constitution of Safety Committee, meetings, Amendment and procedures.
- Ensure Timely statutory reports filing of various departments.
- Involve in Sustainability, Environment monitoring functions of the unit.
