Product Manager Healthcare AI

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Full-time / Contract (Based on Business Requirements)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager with a strong healthcare background

and a solid understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)

technologies. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between healthcare professionals,

business stakeholders, and engineering teams to develop innovative AI-powered healthcare

products.

You will be responsible for defining product strategy, managing the product lifecycle,

gathering market insights, prioritizing features, and ensuring successful delivery of solutions

that improve patient outcomes and healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business

objectives.

• Collaborate with healthcare experts, clinicians, data scientists, AI/ML engineers,

designers, and developers throughout the product lifecycle.

• Gather and prioritize product requirements from customers, stakeholders, and market

research.

• Translate clinical and business needs into detailed product requirements and user

stories.

• Work closely with AI/ML teams to define product requirements involving predictive

analytics, NLP, recommendation systems, and healthcare automation.

• Lead sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and Agile product development

activities.

• Monitor product performance using KPIs and recommend continuous improvements.





• Conduct competitor analysis and identify emerging trends in healthcare technology

and AI.

• Ensure products comply with healthcare regulations, privacy standards, and security

requirements.

• Coordinate product launches and collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer

success teams.

• Collect user feedback and continuously improve the user experience.

• Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to leverage AI and data for healthcare

transformation.

Required Skills

Healthcare & Domain Knowledge

• Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical processes, hospitals,

diagnostics, telemedicine, or digital health.

• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, patient privacy, and data security principles.

• Familiarity with healthcare standards is an advantage (HL7, FHIR, ICD, SNOMED,

etc.).

Product Management

• Product strategy and roadmap planning.

• Product lifecycle management.

• Requirement gathering and documentation.

• Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• User story creation and backlog management.

• Stakeholder management.

• Product analytics and KPI tracking.

AI & Machine Learning

• Valuable understanding of AI and Machine Learning concepts.

• Familiarity with predictive analytics, NLP, recommendation systems, computer

vision, and generative AI applications.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with Data Science and AI Engineering teams.

• Understanding of AI model lifecycle and deployment concepts.

• Knowledge of data-driven product development.

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with APIs and software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Experience with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence,



Azure DevOps,

Trello, or similar.

• Ability to interpret product metrics and dashboards.

• Basic understanding of databases and cloud platforms is beneficial.

Eligibility

• Bachelor°ree in Healthcare, Medicine, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Life

Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Master& degree (MBA, MHA, MPH, or equivalent) is preferred.

• 3+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in Healthcare, HealthTech,

AI, or Digital Health products.

• Experience working with cross-functional product and engineering teams.

• Demonstrated experience launching and managing digital healthcare products is

preferred.

Good to Have

• Experience working with AI-powered healthcare platforms.

• Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and AI-assisted

clinical workflows.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Understanding of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR).

• Experience with product experimentation and A/B testing.

• Exposure to data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

• Knowledge of SQL or basic data querying.

• Certifications in Product Management (CSPO, PSPO, Pragmatic Institute, or

equivalent).

• Experience in startups or fast-growing HealthTech environments.

• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, GDPR, MDR, or equivalent

healthcare compliance standards.
