Role & responsibilities

We're a DTC e-commerce growth consultancy. We need a pure CRO specialist someone who lives in the data, not someone who "also does design" or "also runs ads." Your entire job is making stores convert better through evidence, testing, and analysis.

- Audit the full e-commerce funnel: landing product page cart checkout post-purchase
- Analyze user behavior using heatmaps, session recordings, and analytics to find exactly where and why users drop off
- Design and run A/B and multivariate tests with proper statistical significance
- Build and read funnel reports; diagnose leaks and quantify the impact of every fix
- Set up and validate tracking: GA4, GTM, events, e-commerce tracking, attribution
- Optimize checkout, subscription flows, and third-party checkout integrations for conversion
- Turn findings into a prioritized roadmap: what to fix now, what to test, expected lift
- Report on CVR, AOV, funnel drop-off, and test outcomes — in numbers, not opinions

Preferred candidate profile





- 3-6 years of pure CRO experience on e-commerce / Shopify stores (not SaaS, not lead-gen, not "general marketing")
- Deep hands-on with the CRO stack: GA4, Google Tag Manager, Hotjar / heatmaps / session recording, A/B testing tools (VWO, Optimizely, Convert, or Shopify-native)
- Solid grasp of funnel analytics, attribution models, and statistical significance in testing
- Experience optimizing checkout, subscription flows, and third-party checkout
- Can read data and tell a explicit story: where the money leaks and how to fix it
- Analytical, precise, obsessive about numbers — an "anal" CRO, not a generalist
- Strong English; daily overlap with US Eastern Time
