- The incumbent of this role is accountable for the entire operational aspects of the assigned PE sub-function, as well as at the project sites.
- The purpose of this role is to act as a site in-charge and drive the optimisation of resources to ensure smooth execution of all the activities with best quality, safety and the timelines set for the project site.
- They have to ensure e cient utilisation of people, material and machinery as well as adherence to the set standards of GRIL, while facilitating the project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Planning Performance-
- Create a detailed work plan for the team at the project site identifying the sequence of activities needed to successfully complete the speci c activities of the Electrical sub-function at the project site.
- Estimate resource requirements (human, nancial, equipment etc..) and their allocation to the identi ed activities.
PE Operations-
- Monitor progress of the preventive and scheduled maintenance of equipments and identify any deviations from schedule.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental and managerial procedures.
- Review the daily schedule with the project team through daily progress reports.
Stakeholder Management Reporting
- Provide regular updates to CO of the project progress and request support for resolving major issues creating hindrance in project execution.
- Facilitate necessary inputs to the team members to ensure smooth execution.
- Resolve any issues related to the speci c system or machinery and ensure accurate and timely reporting and escalation, if required.
Indicative Experience and Exposure
- Diploma in Electrical with 7-13 years experience or
- BE/B.Tech with 5-11 years experience or
- M.Tech with 4-10 years experience
- Experience in handling work with scope across 10-30 km in a road construction project
