Role & responsibilities

Sr.Site Engineer is responsible for for the execution and supervision of the work. And also responsible for the quality of works and ensure the safety procedures are followed.And co-ordinate all the activities with Project Engineers.

Execution

- Accuracy in execution of the plan
- Planning the daily concerns and supervision
- Deviations observed and rectified in consultation with superior
- Ensure that all set of Drawings reach the site well in advance.
- Timely identification of the issues and resolving them
- Information passed and initiations taken on critical events
- Monetering the work of the contractors /suppliers as per the work schedule set and ensuring the attainment of the same
- Co-ordinate with the CRE to incorporate the relevant extra work requirements of the clients, without any time wastage

Cost Control

- Overall watch on construction machinery, equipments and its allocation
- Controlling wastage of materials at site
- Accuracy of Billing
- Avoiding demolition and rework at the site due to improper planning

Quality Assurance and Safety

- To implement and maintain the quality system conforming to ISO 9001
- Adherence to Norms
- Quality of Suggestions provided & implemented.
- Quality of Inferences made.
- Compliances to specifications




- Ensuring the Accuracy of Measurements of the product.
- Ensuring safety of premises and workers
- Timely assistance and reporting in case of any casualty/crisis at the project site

Materials Management

- Proper Placement of Machinery and materials
- Ensure timely availability of materials so that no days work is lost due to want of materials.
- Ensuring practice of standardized inventory management and inventory control at projects.
- Proper recording and updating of materials movement and utilization

Record Keeping

- Accuracy of Records
- Retrievability of Records
- Conformity of the Reports to the ISO systems implemented.
- Ability to forward Reports, as required by the Superiors
- Timeliness of information - Periodicity, monthly, quarterly & yearly
- Clarity in information on the concerned project.
- Ensure relevant modules in Quadra are updated

Relationship Building

- Rapport with officials enabling smooth functioning.
- Creating Harmony/Cohesiveness among the laborers/contractors and sub-ordinates engaged in the work.
- Maintaining valuable relations with the neighborhood & with the different agencies involved in the work of the project
