Job Title: AI Lead Engineer (Banking AI Agents)

We are looking for an experienced AI/ML Engineer who combines strong fundamentals in Data Science and Machine Learning with hands-on expertise in modern Generative AI systems, including LLMs and SLMs. This role is not limited to prompt engineering or orchestration frameworks. We are seeking engineers who deeply understand traditional ML techniques, statistical learning, data modeling, and AI system design, and can apply those foundations to build reliable enterprise-grade AI platforms and intelligent applications. This role requires engineers who can architect and implement enterprise-grade AI solutions not just experiment with theoretical AI concepts. Candidates must have real-world experience designing scalable, secure, explainable, and production-ready AI systems in regulated environments. The selected engineers will work on building intelligent banking agents capable of:

Key Responsibilities:

- Core AI/ML & Data Science: Design, develop, and optimize Machine Learning models using supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning techniques.
- Core AI/ML & Data Science: Build robust data pipelines for feature engineering, preprocessing, model training, evaluation, and monitoring.
- Core AI/ML & Data Science: Work with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured datasets across large-scale environments.
- Generative AI & LLM Engineering: Design and implement enterprise-grade solutions using LLMs/SLMs.
- Generative AI & LLM Engineering:



Build RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, semantic search systems, and AI copilots.
- Generative AI & LLM Engineering: Fine-tune, evaluate, and optimize open-source and commercial language models.
- Generative AI & LLM Engineering: Work with vector databases, embeddings, retrieval systems, and inference optimization frameworks such as vLLM.
- Generative AI & LLM Engineering: Implement prompt engineering, context management, grounding, hallucination reduction, and response evaluation strategies.
- Generative AI & LLM Engineering: Develop scalable multi-user AI serving architectures for enterprise workloads.
- AI Platform & Engineering: Develop production-ready AI/ML services, APIs, and scalable inference pipelines.
- AI Platform & Engineering: Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to operationalize AI systems.
- AI Platform & Engineering: Implement observability, tracing, evaluation, governance, and monitoring for AI applications.
- AI Platform & Engineering: Ensure performance, scalability, reliability, security, and responsible AI practices.

Required Skills

Strong Foundations in AI/ML

Solid understanding of: Machine Learning algorithms, Statistical modeling, Predictive analytics,



Feature engineering, Model evaluation and tuning

Experience with: Python, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch

Generative AI Expertise

Hands-on experience with: LLMs and SLMs, RAG architectures, Embedding models, Vector databases, LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar orchestration frameworks, vLLM or similar inference frameworks, Open-source models such as Llama, Mistral, Qwen, Gemma, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in banking or financial services domain. Experience building enterprise AI reporting, analytics, or decision intelligence systems. Knowledge of observability platforms such as Langfuse, OpenTelemetry, Zipkin, or equivalent. Experience with NL2SQL systems, semantic layers, or data dictionary-driven AI systems. Exposure to fine-tuning, quantization, inference optimization, and model serving at scale.
