We run programmes in the remotest corners of India and urban areas in the areas of Health & Nutrition, Education, Child Protection and Livelihood & Economic Wellbeing in order to facilitate quality education, healthcare and protection from harm and abuse and life-saving aid during emergencies to children.
ROLE PURPOSE
The role focusses on raising funds for BRB programmes, maintain donor accounts, relationship building business research & working closely with program team for manage end to end relationship with donors and other external stakeholders during the complete project cycle of the grant. The person in this role is required to lead the BRB partnership, fundraising and external relationship portfolio, build strategy, portfolio planning and execution in South region based from Bengaluru.
SCOPE OF ROLE
Scope:
Reports to: Director Resource Mobilisation & External Engagement / Sr. Manager Partnership
Budget Responsibilities: Yes, developing the regional budget and planning for partnership team
Role Dimensions :
Context: Development / Humanitarian
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
Organize team to map, assess, build relationships with, and pursue new domestic donor opportunities in our states of focus, and international donors as required
Develop annual income and expense plan in support of organization strategy and objectives.
Steer/lead and participate in proposal development processes
Partner actively with NBD to ensure that the Acquisition team uses available tools, participates in capacity building initiatives, and contributes actively to our efforts to prioritize large(r)
opportunities in line with our geographic and thematic (Big Idea) strategy
Help achieve new raise targets (multiyear value of new grants) by pursuing funding opportunity with existing donors and forging new partnerships
Support grant negotiations as needed and work with Award Management to ensure orientation and handover to Operations, Program Thematic, Finance, Awards of new grants and clear understanding of accountabilities for trouble-shooting and addressing implementation issue
Manage the south RM team of BRB, responsible to achieve annual fundraising targets.

QUALIFICATIONS
Post-Graduation in Marketing/PR/communication from a recognized institute
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in a competitive market setting with skills set to build new business relationships with potential clients
Development Sector Background is desirable.
Candidate from Insurance & Banking sector is encouraged to apply

Level 1: The role holder will not have contact with children and/or young people, or access to personal data about children or young people, as part of their work; therefore a police check will not be mandatory unless the content or location of the role changes, in which case the Child Safeguarding level will be reviewed.
Level 2: Either the role holder will have access to personal data about children and/or young people as part of their work; or they will be working in a regulated position (Finance, Monitoring & Evaluation, Legal etc.); therefore, a police check will be required .
