Role Details:

- Department: Bio Production Unit Agricultural Microbial

- Location: Coimbatore

- CTC: As per industry standards

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate medium capacity fermenters (23 KL) with microbial cultures and manage upstream processes.

- Handle submerged fermentation and downstream operations including harvest, clarification, centrifugation, and concentration techniques.

- Operate upstream equipment, CIP SIP systems of SS tanks, and UFS systems.

- Coordinate with maintenance, QC, QA, and warehouse teams for smooth production operations.

- Supervise cleaning and sanitization of production areas and ensure environmental monitoring as per SOPs.

- Manage maintenance and breakdown activities of fermenters and related utilities.

Education Qualification:

- M.Sc. Microbiology / B.Tech Biotechnology

Experience:

- Minimum: 4 years

- Maximum: 10 years





- Experience in industrial microbial fermentation and production.

Required Skills:

- Hands-on experience in submerged and solid-state fermentation.

- Experience in downstream process development, operations, and scale-up.

- Ability to work effectively in team-oriented team environments.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to coordinate and communicate across all levels of the organization.
