The Opportunity

We are building integrated digital products that connect portals, data and core systems (Dynamics 365, Business Central, and Production/PLM tooling). We are looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineerto design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure for microservices and integrations.

This role suits someone who enjoys building and maintain production-grade AKS clusters. Configure networking, ingress controllers, load balancers, and autoscaling. Optimize cloud cost, performance, and availability.

What You’ll Do

Azure Platform setup

- Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Build and maintain production-grade AKS clusters.
- Configure networking, ingress controllers, load balancers, and autoscaling.
- Optimize cloud cost, performance, and availability.

Kubernetes (AKS)

- Design multi-node-pool AKS architecture.
- Deploy and manage microservices using Helm.
- Configure Horizontal Pod Autoscaler (HPA) and Cluster Autoscaler.
- Implement rolling updates, canary deployments, and blue-green deployments.
- Manage namespaces, RBAC, network policies, and pod security.

CI/CD

Design reusable Azure DevOps pipelines for:

- Next.js, NodeJS/NestJS, Python AI services

Automate:

- Build, Unit testing, Static code analysis, Security scanning
- Docker image creation, Azure Container Registry publishing
- Helm deployments, Smoke testing, Rollbacks, Workplace promotion

Infrastructure as Code

Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using:

- Terraform (preferred) or Bicep

Provision resources such as:

- AKS, PostgreSQL, Redis, Azure Service Bus, Blob Storage
- Key Vault, Azure Front Door, Azure Monitor

Observability





Implement end-to-end monitoring using:

- Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics

Build:

- Dashboards, Alerts, Distributed tracing, Performance monitoring
- Log analytics queries

Security

Implement DevSecOps practices including:

- Secret management using Azure Key Vault, RBAC, Least-privilege access
- Image vulnerability scanning, Dependency scanning, Secure pipeline design
- Policy enforcement

Release Engineering

Implement:

- Blue-green deployments, Canary deployments
- Automated rollback, Zero-downtime deployments
- Release approvals, Workplace promotion strategies

Collaboration

Work closely with:

- Architects, Backend engineers, Frontend engineers, AI engineers
- QA engineers, Security engineers, Product owners

to continuously improve engineering productivity and platform reliability.

Key Outcomes & KPIs

- Build reusable Azure DevOps pipeline templates for Java, Node.js, and Python services.
- Automate deployments to Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code for all Azure resources.
- Establish centralized monitoring, alerting, and dashboards.
- Implement secure secret management and DevSecOps controls.
- Enable zero-downtime deployment strategies with automated rollback.
- Optimize AKS performance, scalability, and operational costs.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Qualifications

- 6–8 years of experience as a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer designing, implementing, and managing production-grade cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure, including AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), Azure Container Registry (ACR), Azure Virtual Networks, Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Azure Service Bus, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, and Azure Cache for Redis.




- Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, including build automation, automated testing, containerization, deployment strategies, and release management.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates.
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, including Microsoft Entra ID integration, Managed Identities, RBAC, Key Vault, secret management, network security, and compliance.
- Experience implementing monitoring, logging, alerting, distributed tracing, and production observability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Solution Architects, Developers, QA Engineers, Business Analysts, and Infrastructure teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset and continuous improvement approach.

Desirable Qualifications

- Experience deploying and operating NestJS, Node.js, Next.js, or microservices-based applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Experience integrating enterprise applications with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dynamics 365 Business Central, PLM platforms, and Microsoft Graph.
- Experience implementing event-driven architectures using Azure Service Bus, queues, topics, event publishing, background workers, and asynchronous processing.
- Experience deploying AI/ML workloads (Python/FastAPI services) alongside enterprise applications in Kubernetes environments.
- Experience with PostgreSQL administration, database migration automation, Redis caching, and Azure Blob Storage.
- Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications (such as Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
