"Job Description: Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Finacle 11.x Core Banking Location: Mumbai, India (Global Delivery Center) Industry: Banking / IT Consulting Experience: 15+ Years Role Type: Strategic Advisor & Functional Lead Role Objective As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Finacle 11.x, you will serve as the primary functional authority for a large-scale Core Banking transformation within the GCC region. You will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring the Finacle 11.x solution is optimized for Liabilities, Assets, and Global Payments. Your expertise will be critical in navigating the architectural shifts of version 11.x while maintaining compliance with Middle Eastern banking regulations.
Key Responsibilities 1. Functional Architecture & Design Authority • Provide high-level functional consultancy on Finacle 11.x modules, specifically covering the full spectrum of Liabilities (CASA, TD, Wealth) and Assets (Retail Loans, Mortgages, Corporate Credit). • Lead the ""Current State vs. Future State"" gap analysis, recommending ""Out of the Box"" (OOTB) Finacle 11.x features to minimize custom code. • Advise on the configuration of the Product Configurator to ensure rapid time-to-market for recent banking products in the GCC market. 2. Payments & SWIFT Strategy • Serve as the lead SME for International Funds Transfer and Foreign Currency (FCY) Operations. • Design and validate complex SWIFT ISO 20022 migration paths, ensuring all MT/MX message transformations are compliant with global and regional standards. • Overlook the integration logic between Finacle and regional clearing houses (e.g., UAEFTS, SARIE, NEFT) and ensure robust handling of intermediary bank charges and FX settlement. 3. Delivery Governance & Risk Mitigation • Act as a functional gatekeeper for the Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE), reviewing High-Level Test Strategies and complex business scenarios. • Support the CXO team and SteerCo by identi
