Role Purpose

Own end-to-end secure networking and cybersecurity solution architecture for customer opportunities, from requirement discovery to solution design and hands-on PoC execution, leveraging Company’s portfolio (QVPN, QHSM, QRNG, QVerse and QKD. The role is network/cybersecurity-centric, covering router and perimeter security, identity services (AD/Domain Controller), enterprise services (email, VoIP, file transfer), and automation for repeatable deployments and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Discovery & Solution Shaping

- Lead customer workshops to capture topology, data flows, threat model, security policies, compliance needs, and operational constraints.
- Translate requirements into technical scope, assumptions, dependencies, and acceptance criteria; define PoC success matrix.




- Identify product/solution gaps early and align mitigation approach with Engineering/Product (configuration, workaround, enhancement).

Secure Network & Router / Perimeter Architecture (Primary)

- Design secure IP networks with routing (BGP/OSPF), VLAN/VRF zoning, HA/DR and performance sizing (MTU/MSS, QoS).
- Define router security controls: route filtering, max-prefix, control-plane policing (CoPP), uRPF, secure management access, logging/audit.
- Design secure connectivity overlays: IPsec/IKE, GRE/IPsec, site-to-site and hub-spoke architectures with resilience.
- Define perimeter security: firewall zoning, NAT design, secure remote access concepts (ZTNA/SASE) as applicable.

Enterprise Services Security (AD/DC, Email, VoIP, File Transfer)

- Architect and secure identity foundations: AD/Domain Controller basics, DNS/NTP dependencies, certificate/PKI integration points.
- Design secure connectivity/policy for email services (TLS, firewall rules, dependencies).
- Design VoIP connectivity with security + QoS (SIP/RTP considerations, NAT traversal, segmentation).
- Design secure file transfer workflows (SFTP/FTPS/HTTPS), access controls, audit logging, and performance considerations.

Quantum-Safe Components (Secondary, When Required)

- Incorporate QKD where mission/policy demands: identify suitable links, architecture options (P2P, trusted nodes), redundancy, and operations model.
- Integrate QRNG where required by security mandates; ensure clean integration with network and crypto policy design.

PoC Leadership & Opportunity Closure (Hands-on)

- Plan and execute PoCs end-to-end; define test cases for encryption, routing security, policy enforcement, failover, performance, and audit logging.




- Configure and integrate components in lab/customer environments; drive issue triage and closure with Engineering/QA.
- Deliver PoC outputs: results report, architecture baseline, deployment approach and sign-off inputs to enable deal closure.

Automation, Tools & Operational Readiness

- Use automation tools (Ansible preferred) and scripting (Python/Shell) to build repeatable deployments and configuration baselines.
- Define observability requirements: syslog, SNMP/telemetry, NetFlow/IPFIX, dashboards and SIEM integration.
- Create runbooks, checklists, ATP/PoC plans, commissioning plans and rollback plans; enforce change discipline.

Required Skills & Experience

- 7–9 years in Network Security / Cybersecurity Architecture / Secure IP Networking / Solution Architecture / Pre-sales with customer-facing ownership.
- Strong IP networking: BGP/OSPF, VLAN/VRF, HA design, MTU/MSS, QoS; packet-level troubleshooting (logs/pcaps).
- Router & perimeter security: route-policy hygiene, filtering, CoPP, secure management plane, firewall zoning, NAT, VPNs (IPsec/IKE).
- Experience integrating enterprise services into secure designs: AD/DNS/NTP, email connectivity, VoIP basics, secure file transfer flows.
- Hands-on PoC execution: design configuration validation reporting closure.
- Robust documentation and stakeholder communication skills.

Good to Have

- Exposure to QKD/QRNG/HSM/KMS/PKI operations and crypto policy management.
- Experience in Defense / rail / critical infrastructure and compliance-heavy deployments.
- SOC/SIEM integration knowledge and incident readiness practices.
- Certifications (optional): CCNP/CCIE/JNCIP, NSE, CISSP/CISM, cloud/network security certs.
