Position: Patent Associate

Experience: 0–5 Years
Qualification: B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology.

We are seeking a highly motivated Patent Associate with a solid technical background in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Computer Science, and emerging technologies. The candidate will work closely with inventors, R&D; teams, and legal professionals to protect innovative technologies through patents and intellectual property strategies.

Key Responsibilities

- Draft, review, and prosecute patent applications related to AI, Machine Learning, Software, Computer Vision, NLP, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, IoT, and emerging technologies.
- Conduct patentability, freedom-to-operate (FTO), invalidity, and landscape searches.
- Analyze inventions and prepare technical disclosures.
- Perform prior art searches using patent and non-patent literature databases.
- Assist in patent portfolio management and IP strategy development.
- Prepare claim charts, patent mappings, and technology assessments.
- Monitor competitor patents and technology trends.
- Support patent filing processes in India and international jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with inventors, engineers, and research teams to identify patentable innovations.




- Assist in responding to office actions and patent examination reports.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, NLP, Computer Vision, Data Structures, Algorithms, and Software Development.
- Knowledge of patent drafting and patent prosecution processes.
- Excellent technical writing and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with patent databases such as Google Patents, Espacenet, WIPO Patentscope, and USPTO.
- Ability to understand complex technologies and convert them into patent specifications.
- Strong research and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Registered Indian Patent Agent (preferred).
- Experience in patent drafting or IP consulting.
- Knowledge of Python, Java, C++, AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), or cloud platforms.
- Experience in technology transfer, innovation management, or R&D; environments.
