Job Description – Social Media Intern

Location: Mumbai (On-site/Hybrid)

Duration: 3–6 months

About the Role





SuperBottoms is looking for a creative and driven Social Media Intern to support the marketing team in growing our online community of 1 lakh+ parents. This role is ideal for someone who loves social media, understands content trends, and wants hands-on experience building a brand's voice across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning and scheduling content across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

Support in writing captions, community replies, and engaging with our parent community

Track trends, reels, and formats relevant to the parenting and D2C space

Coordinate with the content/design team for creatives, reels, and campaign assets

Help track basic performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth) and share weekly reports

Support influencer and UGC (user-generated content) outreach and coordination

Stay on top of platform updates and suggest new content ideas and formats

Qualifications

Education: Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field.

Experience: No prior qualified experience required; personal experience managing social pages, content creation, or college fest/social media work is a plus.

Skills: Strong understanding of Instagram/Facebook trends, good writing skills, basic knowledge of content tools (Canva, CapCut, or similar) is a plus.

Attitude and work ethic: As a startup, we need people who are extremely result-oriented with an attitude of 'getting things done'.
