job Summary

The Junior Design Engineer will support the design, development, and modification of industrial valves, fittings, and related components. The role involves creating 2D/3D models, engineering drawings, BOMs, and assisting in product development while ensuring compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, Creo, etc.).
- Develop manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Assist in the design and development of valves, fittings, flanges, and related components.
- Perform basic engineering calculations related to pressure, stress, material selection, and dimensions.
- Review customer specifications and support order engineering activities.
- Modify existing designs based on manufacturing, quality, or customer requirements.
- Coordinate with production, quality, procurement, and sales teams for project execution.
- Maintain engineering documents, design revisions, and technical records.
- Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable standards such as API, ASME, ANSI, and ISO.

Required Qualifications





- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 0–2 years of experience in mechanical design (freshers may apply).
- Knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or Inventor.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, GD&T;, and engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with valves, fittings, piping components, and pressure-containing equipment is preferred.
- Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
