Job Summary

The Pre-Primary Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for children aged 2–6 years. The teacher plans and delivers age-appropriate, play-based learning experiences that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and language development of every child while fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence.

Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Responsibilities

- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum.
- Conduct circle time, storytelling, phonics, numeracy, art & craft, music, dance, and play-based learning activities.
- Promote foundational literacy, numeracy, communication, and life skills.
- Encourage experiential and inquiry-based learning.
- Prepare teaching-learning materials (TLMs) and classroom displays.
- Assess children's developmental progress through continuous observation and maintain assessment records.
- Provide additional support to children requiring individual attention.

Classroom Management

- Maintain a safe, clean, attractive, and child-friendly classroom workplace.
- Ensure discipline through positive reinforcement and age-appropriate behaviour management.
- Supervise children during classroom activities, assemblies, meals, field trips, and outdoor play.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of every child at all times.





Student Development

- Foster children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Encourage creativity, curiosity, confidence, and independent learning.
- Identify developmental or learning concerns and communicate them to the Coordinator/Principal and parents when required.

Parent Communication

- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress.
- Conduct Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
- Share observations, achievements, and areas requiring improvement.
- Address parent concerns professionally and promptly.

Documentation & Administration

- Maintain attendance registers and student portfolios.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessment records, and progress reports.
- Maintain classroom inventory and teaching resources.
- Submit reports and documentation as per school requirements.

School Responsibilities

- Participate in assemblies, celebrations, annual functions, sports day, exhibitions, and other school events.
- Attend staff meetings, workshops, training programmes, and professional development sessions.
- Support school policies and maintain professional ethics.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow teachers and support staff.

Pay: From ₹8,000.00 per month
