- Rate Procurement & Negotiation: Secure competitive freight rates, space allocations, and contracts from shipping lines, airlines, and trucking companies.
- Quotation & Tender Management: Prepare and submit accurate RFQs (Requests for Quotation) and customized proposals to clients.
- Market Analysis: Monitor global shipping trends, fuel surcharges, and competitor rates across various trade lanes to adjust strategies proactively.
- Profitability Analysis: Evaluate the financial impact of quoted shipments by balancing operational costs, margins, and customer requirements.
- Internal Collaboration: Partner with the sales and operations teams to align pricing with business targets and identify recent revenue opportunities.
Ideal Requirements
- Experience: 1–3 years in international freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain, with specific exposure to either sea or air freight.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of shipping terms (Incoterms), port-to-port routings, and tariff regulations.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and financial reporting with an ability to manage large databases (e.g., ERP/CRM systems).
- Negotiation & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with carriers and global overseas agents.
Pay: ₹294,710.49 - ₹1,090,840.82 per year
