Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, modify, and optimize CNC & VMC machine programs as per engineering drawings.
- Set up and operate CNC and VMC machines for production.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine parameters.
- Monitor machining operations and ensure dimensional accuracy of components.
- Perform first-piece inspection and make necessary program adjustments.
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to minimize downtime.
- Ensure proper machine maintenance and adherence to safety standards.
- Coordinate with the production and quality teams to achieve production targets.
- Maintain records of programs, tooling, and production activities.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of CNC & VMC programming.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Knowledge of G-Code and M-Code programming.




- Understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, and fixtures.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, and Bore Gauges.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Qualifications

- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die, Machinist, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CNC & VMC Programmer.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Solid technical knowledge of CNC and VMC machining.
- Ability to optimize machining cycles and improve productivity.
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and quality-conscious.
