Freelance AI Show Editor (Short-Form Narrative)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Freelance Video Editor to edit an upcoming AI-generated narrative show. This is not a traditional YouTube editing role—we're looking for someone who understands cinematic storytelling, pacing, emotion, and continuity and can transform AI-generated visuals into compelling cartoonic episodes.

The ideal candidate has prior experience editing films, cartoons, web series, OTT content, or long-form narrative projects and is excited to work with cutting-edge AI production pipelines.

Responsibilities

* Edit AI-generated episodes into engaging, polished narrative content.

* Build strong story flow, pacing, emotional beats, and scene continuity.

* Assemble scenes from AI-generated visuals, dialogue, music, and sound effects.

* Create smooth transitions and maintain visual consistency throughout each episode.

* Work closely with the creative team to refine edits based on feedback.

* Organize project files and maintain an efficient post-production workflow.

* Deliver high-quality edits within project timelines.

Requirements

* 3+ years of experience editing films, web series, TV shows, or cinematic long-form content.

* Solid understanding of narrative storytelling and cinematic editing techniques.

* Knowledge of sound design, dialogue editing, pacing, continuity,



and basic color correction.

* Experience working with AI-generated footage or virtual production.

* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

A portfolio/previous work demonstrating cinematic or narrative editing is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

* Experience editing AI-generated videos using tools such as Runway, Kling, Veo, Pika, Midjourney, or similar AI workflows.

* Familiarity with AI voice sync, lip-sync workflows, and AI-assisted post-production.

* Basic motion graphics or compositing skills in Adobe After Effects are a plus.

* Understanding of OTT or episodic content workflows.
