We are looking for a Cloud & Virtualization Infrastructure Administrator to join our Infrastructure Engineering team. In
this role, you will be responsible for operating and supporting our private cloud infrastructure built on VMware ESXi,
as well as Windows and Linux virtual machines and public cloud environments on AWS/Azure.
You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our infrastructure platforms that support
critical business applications. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative,
enterprise environment while taking ownership of operational excellence.
What you'll do
Operate and support private cloud infrastructure based on VMware ESXi / vSphere, including compute, storage, and
networking components.
Provision, manage, and troubleshoot virtual machines running Windows and Linux across private and public cloud
platforms.
Support public cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure, ensuring environments are secure, reliable, and cost-efficient.
Perform operating system lifecycle management, including installations, patching, upgrades, and security
hardening.
Monitor infrastructure health and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain high
availability.
Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes for virtualized and cloud workloads.
Automate routine infrastructure operations using scripting and configuration management tools to improve efficiency
and consistency.
Maintain accurate documentation, including system diagrams, operational procedures, and standards.
Partner with application, security, and cloud teams to support deployments, troubleshoot issues, and meet business
requirements.




Participate in incident response activities, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on stability, scalability, security, and operational maturity.

Skills What you need to succeed
Experience
5 8 years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure operations, or cloud administration in an enterprise
environment. Technical Skills
Robust hands-on experience administering VMware ESXi / vSphere.
Proficiency in Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration.
Hands-on experience supporting AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
Experience with OS patching, system hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
Working knowledge of enterprise networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, and load
balancing.
Experience with storage platforms such as SAN, NAS, and vSAN.
Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools.
Scripting experience using PowerShell, Bash, or Python will be a plus.
Exposure to automation or configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) is a plus.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

Education Education & Certifications (Preferred)
Bachelor's degree, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
Relevant certifications are a plus:
o VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
o AWS or Azure certifications
o Linux certifications (Red Hat or equivalent)
