Educational Qualification: B.E., with Mechanical/Electrical
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Food processing Industries/any Engineering
Industry

Knowledge about Automation Biscuit oven and labour handling;
Motor Control Centre ,
PLC with Automation ,
Captive Power Plants,
Packing Machines,
Electrical Drawings,
Statutory Regulations;
Experience in handling Government Officials
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Engineering Support
Prepare plans for preventive maintenance and spares procurement; Develop technology and
suppliers for new equipment; Develop designs and electronic instruments for Zero FBC issues;
Analyse feasibility of technology initiatives and develop machinery along with engineering team ;
Monitor energy consumed by motors and take action to conserve energy in electrical, waste heat




recovery system and fuel savings in order to ensure effient operations of plant and machinery and
adherence to defined M & R expenditure budget.
Manage Production Activities
Maintaining reordering levels of spares and coordinate procurement after checking the same;
Ensure engineering stores audits are conducted once in three months; maintain records and
registers; indigenize spares along with vendors and maintenance officers; monitor performance
and then accept in order to ensure timely availability of appropriate spares
Buy and Pay for Materials and Services
Scan quotations and justifications for engineering stores expenditures. Raise CER and create
appropriation Request on SAP and PR. Forward to purchase, negotiate jointly and shortlist
vendor. Check and Certify CER bills and Bills related with M&R; Plant & Machinery, Building
Contract, Building Stores, Plant and machinery Stores, Food Safety and Misc G.L. Accounts in
order to ensure timely procurement and payment for stores related items
Ensure Statutory and Legal compliance
Periodically review license status for statutory needs of Electricity Board , Electrical licensing
Board , Electrical Inspectorate , Pollution Control Board , Explosives Department ,Inspector of
factories - Pressure vessels and Lifting Tackles. Visit required statutory authorities and arrange for
inspections in order to ensure protected working conditions in the Factory
