About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused International Student Advisor (Australia) to guide students through their study abroad journey. The ideal candidate will counsel prospective students, assess their eligibility, recommend suitable Australian institutions and courses, and provide end-to-end support throughout the admission and visa process.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students regarding higher education opportunities in Australia.
- Assess student profiles, academic qualifications, and career goals to recommend suitable universities and programs.
- Assist students with university applications, documentation, offer letters, and enrolment processes.
- Guide students on Genuine Student (GS) requirements and Australian student visa documentation.
- Coordinate with Australian universities, colleges, and partner institutions for admissions and application updates.
- Maintain regular communication with students and parents throughout the admission process.
- Achieve monthly counselling, admission, and enrolment targets.
- Stay updated on Australian education policies, visa regulations, university requirements,
and scholarship opportunities.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with students to ensure a positive counselling experience.
- Maintain accurate records using CRM systems and prepare reports on student applications and conversions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's preferred).
- 1–4 years of experience in Australia student counselling or international education.
- Strong knowledge of Australian universities, admissions, and student visa processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counselling skills.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
