Role Overview

The ASM will be responsible for managing and expanding sales operations within the assigned area. This includes overseeing distributor networks, leading sales teams, and ensuring target achievement across all retail channels.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute area-wise sales strategy in line with company goals
- Drive secondary sales and ensure primary sales targets through effective distributor management
- Expand market coverage by increasing retail outlet reach and optimizing beat plans
- Ensure product availability, visibility, and brand presence in retail stores
- Lead a team of Sales Officers and support field team training and performance
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adjust strategy
- Ensure proper execution of trade marketing and in-store promotions
- Maintain distributor health through inventory planning and credit control

Qualifications

- Graduate/MBA in Marketing, Sales, or related field
- 4–8 years of experience in Apparel sales, preferably with exposure to general trade
- Hands-on experience managing distributors and a field sales team
- Strong local market knowledge and good command of regional language(s)
