Designation:- Production Engineer (Welding Engineer- Fabrication)

Responsibilities: -

1. Identify & arranging Fixtures, tooling and measuring equipment, welding equipment

2. participate in preparing fortnightly production plan with the production team and achieve production as committed date

3. before the start of preparing the weekly production plan identify the readiness of material date phase 1 as per Bom, coordinate with Sandip Dixit, and highlight shortages on a daily basis in morning meeting

4. highlight and discuss shop floor problems with HOD

5. Prepare weekly G1 shop efficiency report and submit it to HOD

6. Monitoring work will be done as per SOP and Maintaining quality at top priority also ensures finishing will be done properly

7. Check before welding proper supporting to avoid distortion, Guidelines to be given regarding joint preparation, weld map, and drawing

8. Ensure QA approval to job move for next process, recent welder qualification need to be clear by WPS, PQR FROM QA

9. Maintain 5s and safety in shop floor

10. Ensure material handling to be done safely, proper use of belt for machining components,



crane use as per tonnage capacity

11. Discipline to be maintained in working area avoid unnecessary gossips, mobiles

12. Do one day of advance planning in the evening with HOD and execute in next day

13. Continual improvement in process by thinking about existing process

14. Identify the training needs of team and inform to hod and organize training

15. Motivate the worker by appreciating them for good work

16. Take employee feedback, control absenteeism without intimation

17. Reduce Rejection & rework percentage

18. 100% utilization of manpower.
