Job Description: Manager – Commercial

Key Responsibilities:

1. Contract Administration:

o Negotiate, draft, and administer contracts with contractors, vendors, and consultants.

o Ensure all agreements are aligned with project scope, timelines, and company policies.

o Review and approve contractor bills, work orders, and contractual claims.

2. Cost Management:

o Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability.

o Monitor project costs against budgets and prepare periodic cost reports for management.

o Identify cost variances and implement corrective measures to control overruns.

o Conduct value engineering exercises to optimize material and construction costs.

3. Tendering & Procurement Support:

o Oversee the preparation and review of BOQs, tender documents, and rate analyses.

o Evaluate vendor quotations and assist in finalizing cost-effective contracts.





o Ensure timely procurement and availability of materials in coordination with the purchase team.

4. Forecasting & Reporting:

o Prepare cash flow forecasts, cost-to-complete analyses, and project financial summaries.

o Provide periodic MIS reports to management highlighting cost trends and project performance.

o Support management in financial decision-making and strategic planning.

5. Coordination & Compliance:

o Liaise with project, planning, finance, and site teams to align commercial and operational goals.

o Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal audit procedures.

o Drive process improvements to strengthen commercial governance across projects.

Desired Candidate Profile:

· B.E. in Civil Engineering with 15–20 years of experience in commercial management within residential or infrastructure projects.

· Strong background in contract negotiation, project costing, and budget control.

· Sound understanding of construction methodologies, rate analysis, and financial systems.

· Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

· Proficient in MS Excel, cost control tools, and ERP systems.

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
