Job Summary

Job Summary : Windows/Vmware SCCM Patching SME Required Skill Set: • Strong expertise in SCCM architecture design and implementation • Hands-on experience in SCCM fresh builds and in-place upgrades • Manage and support end-to-end SCCM infrastructure including Primary Site, Secondary Sites, and Distribution Points • Perform SCCM Current Branch upgrades (in-place) and handle fresh build implementations • Manage SCCM client deployment strategies (client push, manual, cross-domain) • Oversee patch management for Windows and third-party applications • Ensure effective software deployment, compliance monitoring, and reporting • Integrate SCCM with Active Directory (GPO, DNS, replication) • Perform SCCM health checks, performance tuning, and troubleshooting • Proficiency in configuring and managing MP, DP, and Software Update Point (SUP) • Experience in client deployment, troubleshooting, and upgrade strategies • Knowledge of patch management, software distribution, and SCCM reporting • Strong skills in SCCM log analysis, monitoring, and performance optimization Project Expectations: • Assess existing SCCM environment and identify gaps • Recommend optimal approach (fresh build vs upgrade) • Execute implementation / upgrade with best practices Environment & Operational Responsibilities: • Maintain patch compliance across infrastructure (Windows servers, ESXi, vCenter) • Ensure certificate renewals and platform updates are up to date • Drive vulnerability remediation and security compliance (CIS benchmarks, Wintrust fixes) • Manage infrastructure cleanup and agent lifecycle activities Job Responsibilities : • Maintain patch compliance across infrastructure (Windows servers, ESXi, vCenter) • Ensure certificate renewals and platform updates are up to date • Drive vulnerability remediation and security compliance (CIS benchmarks, Wintrust fixes)
