Description

Conduct security risk assessments and threat analyses for planning and design projects.
Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and designs that align with project objectives and client requirements.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and planners to integrate security measures into project designs, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Provide expert guidance on physical security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and perimeter protection.
- Prepare detailed security plans, specifications, and reports to support project delivery and client presentations.
- Engage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to address security concerns and ensure project alignment with industry best practices.
- Stay updated on emerging security trends, technologies, and threats to provide forward-thinking solutions.
- Support project teams in managing budgets, timelines, and resources related to security deliverables.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in security management or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g, PSP) preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in security consulting,



with a focus on planning and design projects.
- Proven expertise in integrating security solutions into multidisciplinary projects, such as transportation, commercial, or public infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of security standards, risk assessment methodologies, and physical security technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse project teams and clients.
- Proficiency in design and planning tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam) and security software is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with local and international regulations, including building codes and security guidelines.
