Job Title: Finance Head / Senior Finance Manager

Location: Ponneri, Chennai

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Oversee overall financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
2. Manage cost accounting and track production-related expenses.
3. Control and reduce manufacturing costs through analysis and optimization.
4. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
5. Monitor budget vs. actuals and provide variance analysis.
6. Manage working capital, including receivables, payables, and cash flow.
7. Oversee inventory valuation, stock levels, and cost optimization.
8. Evaluate capital expenditure (machinery, equipment, expansion projects).

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, audits, and internal controls.
10. Identify and mitigate financial risks related to operations and markets.
11. Coordinate with production teams to improve operational efficiencies.
12. Lead the finance team and ensure proper training and development.
13. Implement and maintain ERP/financial systems for accuracy and efficiency.
14. Liaise with banks, auditors, vendors, internal departments, and financial institutions.
15. Ensure timely submission of MIS reports to management.
16. Monitor and control expenses and stock.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proven experience as a Finance Head or in a similar senior finance role.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and ethical standards.
