- Enable pan India Commercial Underwriting (UW) & Sales teams through Underwriting support from Mumbai office. (SME – PROPERTY, MARINE, ENGINEERING) (without any Limitation on Sum Insured)
- Contribute to development of cutting-edge & comprehensive solutions/ process / raters / platforms for SME Underwriting & Underwriting automation.
- Drive SME business through sales teams & channels by providing best in class & technically advanced solutions matching to current & upcoming market requirements.
- Identifyniche & profitable segments, develop value propositions with Go to market plans.
- Evaluate the pan India SME/ Commercial lines portfolio on periodic basis, getinsightsand implement changes.
- Recommend solutions for Hazard categorization, conversion Matrix,
Risk Accumulation
- Implement the Strategy, Policies,guidelinesand processes for Underwriting of Commercial Segment products in letter and spirit.
- Ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements in Underwriting, Products & Pricing.
- Effectively coordinate with the cross functional teams (Risk Engineering team, Sales team,channelsand Operations & Claims teams
Key Requirements – Education & Certificates
- MBA and / or III certification
Key Requirements - Experience &Skills;
- Minimum of 3-5 years of underwriting experience
