Job Description
Position : Senior Tech Consultant/Technical Architect – SAS Administration
Location : Hyderabad, India
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or higher in Engineering, IT, Mathematics, Statistics or Science.
- 6+ years of experience in SAS Administration.
- Must have performed a Unix based multimachine SAS install & deep understating of SAS Authentication and Authorization processes.
- Exposure to 9.4 platform with inbuilt application tier is preferred.
- Strong migration/modernization skills i.e. must have performed migration of a full SAS production environment to a newer release/platform.
• Exposure to clustered compute and mid-tier would be nice to have. • Exposure to SAS Grid environment will be preferred.
- Experience in Hadoop Platform Administration would be plus.
- Proficient in Base SAS,
SQL, MS Excel, Unix, Linux Scripting, SAS Platform administration.
- Should have certification of SAS Platform Administration for SAS 9.
Job Profile
- Installation and configuration of SAS software and components.
- Secure a SAS platform configuration.
- Renewal and installation of SAS license.
- Administer Data Access.
- Co-ordinate with Technology Services teams to back up and restore the SAS Workplace.
- User Administration.
- Liaise with SAS support team and resolve issues.
- Monitoring, Logging, and Troubleshooting SAS Servers.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or higher in Engineering, IT, Mathematics, Statistics or Science
