Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Energy Domain Consultant with 3–5 years of experience in testing Android and iOS applications. You will be responsible for ensuring our mobile applications deliver a seamless, secure, and reliable experience to our users (both business owner and consumers). Experience in utility or b2c, b2b apps just like (Justdial, Indiamart etc.) will be a plus.

Key Responsibilities for Energy Domain Advisor:

- Perform manual and automated testing of Android and iOS mobile applications.
- Develop roadmaps for smart grid, AMI, and energy efficiency initiatives.
- Advise on policy, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation in utilities using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Support planning and implementation of utility IT systems.
- Collaborate closely with developers, UI/UX teams, and product managers for timely delivery.
- Engage with clients to assess operational challenges and propose tailored solutions, OS versions, and screen resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with Google Play Store and Apple App Store guidelines.




- Document test findings and provide regular quality reports to stakeholders.
- Participate in release planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement activities.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or related field.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in mobile app testing (both Android & iOS).
- Knowledge of power distribution operations, AMI systems, SCADA, GIS, and regulatory frameworks, TestFlight, Firebase Test Lab, BrowserStack, etc.
- Strong knowledge of mobile automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, Postman, and backend data validations.
- Deep understanding of DISCOM operations, renewable integration, and smart grid technologies, or smart meter apps (preferred).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, tech-focused environment.

Nice to Have:

- ISTQB Certification or equivalent.
- Experience in security testing and data privacy compliance.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bitrise.
- Understanding of analytics tools (e.g., Firebase, Mixpanel).
