Job Description:

Position: Shift Chemist - Production

Location: Vapi

Experience: 1 - 2 Years

Industries: Chemical

Responsibilities:

- Monitor and control production processes during shifts.
- Ensure production activities comply with SOPs and safety guidelines.
- Handle batch processing, chemical reactions, and material handling.
- Maintain production records and shift reports accurately.
- Coordinate with QA/QC and maintenance teams for smooth operations.
- Perform in-process checks and ensure product quality standards.
- Troubleshoot minor process and equipment issues.
- Ensure proper usage of raw materials and minimize wastage.
- Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in the production area.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of chemical production processes
- Understanding of GMP/SOP/Safety standards
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in rotational shifts

Required Qualification: - B.Sc/M.Sc - Chemistry

Salary :- Upto 3.00 LPA
