Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve coding, enhancing components, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to create effective software applications that align with organizational goals and user requirements. Your role will also include problem-solving and decision-making to address challenges that arise during the development process, ensuring that the final product meets quality standards and user expectations.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Experience in end-to-end OTM implementations, upgrades, and rollouts (on-prem or Oracle Cloud).
Gather and analyze business requirements for transportation planning, execution, freight settlement, and logistics finance.
Configure OTM modules including:
Order Management
Shipment Planning & Execution
Rate Management
Freight Settlement
Fleet Management
GTM integration (if applicable)
Define and document functional design documents (FDD), business process flows,



and test scenarios.
Support UAT, SIT, and production phases, including defect triage and resolution.
Provide subject-matter expertise for transportation best practices and optimization strategies.
Train end users and support teams develop training and knowledge-transfer materials.

Qualified & Technical Skills:
Develop and customize OTM using:
Agent Actions
Automation Agents
Action Checks
Screen Sets
Saved Queries
Design and support OTM integrations using:
XML/JSON
REST/SOAP web services
BIP reports
OTM Integration Manager (OIM)
Develop and maintain:
Custom reports and dashboards
SQL queries and PL/SQL objects
Troubleshoot performance issues and apply tuning techniques.
Manage inbound/outbound integrations with ERP systems (Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, SAP), WMS, TMS, and carrier systems.

Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle SCM Transportation Management.
This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
