A timekeeper is an administrative professional responsible for accurately recording and tracking employee work hours for payroll and compliance purposes. Key duties include monitoring timesheets, recording hours, processing payroll data, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. Timekeepers also handle discrepancies, generate attendance reports, and often use specific timekeeping software. Core responsibilities

- Time and attendance tracking: Accurately monitor and record employee work hours, overtime, and absences.
- Timesheet management: Review, verify, and process timesheets and attendance records.
- Payroll support: Gather and compile time and wage data for payroll processing, including calculating wages and deductions.

- Compliance and accuracy: Ensure all time records comply with labor laws and company policies, and report any discrepancies.

- Reporting:



Provide management with reports on attendance, tardiness, and other time-related metrics.

Required skills and qualifications
