Job Description:

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENT

POSITION : SHIFT SUPERVISOR

PLANT / SECTION : MNCB

1. QUALIFICATION & LENGTH OF EXPERIENCE :
1. BSc. / Diploma Chemical Engineer : 3 to 5 yrs.
2. BE / MSc. – Chemical : 2 to 3 yrs.

- EXPERIENCE :

1. Running of continuous vacuum distillation column
2. Trouble shooting related to above
3. PLC/DCS/Manual control system
4. Handling of various organic chemicals
5. Preference would be given to additional experience of running batch chlorination plant

- SKILLS:

1. Safe operating practices
2. Setting aspects, handling of scrubbing system, good housekeeping practices
3. Manpower handling with a team spirit
4. Utilities saving, efficient use of steam
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills
