Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Web QA Lead to head our Quality Assurance efforts for websites and e-commerce platforms. This role requires leading a QA team, designing test strategies, ensuring high-quality releases, and collaborating closely with developers, designers, and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in both manual and automation testing, strong leadership skills, and the ability to ensure flawless user experiences across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Planning

- Define QA strategy, processes, and standards for web testing.
- Prepare and review test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
- Ensure comprehensive testing coverage across functional, regression, integration, and UAT.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

- Lead, mentor, and guide QA team members.
- Assign tasks, review outputs, and ensure timely execution of test cycles.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (development, product, design) to align QA processes.

Automation & Tools

- Implement and manage automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or similar).
- Drive adoption of QA tools for bug tracking, reporting, and test management (JIRA, TestRail, etc.).
- Optimize automation to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.

Quality Governance

- Track and report quality metrics (defect density, test coverage,



pass/fail rates).
- Ensure all deliverables meet usability, performance, and security standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring defects and recommend process improvements.

Performance & Security Testing

- Oversee performance testing for scalability and response times.
- Work with IT security teams to validate data integrity and security compliance.

Attributes of the Ideal Candidate

Key Attributes:

· 5–8 years of QA experience with at least 3 years in a lead role.

· Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile testing, and DevOps environments.

· Hands-on expertise in automation and testing tools (Selenium, Postman, JIRA, etc.).

· Good understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

· Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
