Job Description:

As a Sr. Manager / Manager Mechanical in the Steel Melting Shop (SMS) with a focus on Induction Furnaces, you'll oversee the planning, execution, and management of projects, ensuring optimal operation and maintenance of the SMS, including induction furnaces and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:
Plan, execute, and manage projects within the SMS, including induction furnace operations and maintenance.

Equipment Management:
Oversee the maintenance and operation of furnaces, induction heaters, and related melting equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Troubleshooting:
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues related to induction furnaces, cranes, conveyors, compressors, and other foundry equipment.

Performance Optimization:
Identify areas for improvement in SMS processes and equipment performance, implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Safety:
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations within the SMS, promoting a safe working setting.

Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support for their development.

Data Analysis:
Analyze data related to SMS operations, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and project progress.

Vendor Management:
Manage relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring timely delivery of equipment and services.

Continuous Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the SMS, focusing on efficiency, safety, and cost reduction.

Budget Management:
Manage the SMS budget, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Problem Solving:
Sort out problems by analysis and making alternate arrangements to meet scheduled dates.

Maintenance:
Maintain 12 -15-ton induction furnaces.
